The Abchanchu is a Bolivian vampire that is said to take the form of a helpless old man who is lost. He often asks for directions or a place to stay. They may appear at your house on stormy nights looking for a place to sleep for the night, preying on your sympathy. The people that try to help often end up becoming his victim. While the they sleep the vampire will drink their blood. If you make it through the night alive somehow, you may wake up the next day with a fatal disease.
